By Decision No. 476 of 08.10.2015 the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) launched a public consultation procedure on a Draft Decision for amendment of the Technical requirements for carrying out electronic communications through amateur service radio equipment.

Dr. Veselin Bozhkov, Chairman of the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) and Head of Delegation of the Republic of Bulgaria, took part in the Radiocommunication Assembly 2015 (RA-15), which was held from the 26^th to 30^th of October 2015 in Geneva, Switzerland.

The Radiocommunication Assembly is organized by the Bureau of the Radiocommunication Sector of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), immediately before the World Radiocommunication Conference, which is being held from the 2^nd to the 27^th of October 2015 in Geneva.

Pursuant to the ITU Constitution and Convention the Radiocommunication Assembly endorses the reports on the research done by the Study Groups of the Radiocommunication Sector, defines their working methods and programs, considers and approves revised and/or new Recommendations and Resolutions in this area.

The Heads of National Delegations noted the ITU tremendous contribution for ensuring effective and interference-free use of radio frequency spectrum and creation of enabling environment for introduction of innovative communication technology to the benefit of consumers worldwide.

By Decision № 411 of 31.08.2015 the Communications Regulation Commission announced its intention to hold a tender procedure to issue authorizations for use of radio frequency spectrum in 2500-2690 MHz band.

The Communications Regulation Commission launched by its Decision No. 361 of 06.08.2015 a public consultation procedure on a draft decision for amendment and supplement of the Functional specifications for carrying out portability of non-geographic numbers when switching to another provider of the respective service.

By its Decision No. 304 of 16.07.2015 the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) launched a public consultation procedure on the manner to determine radio amateurs’ call signs.
