In their activities the national authorities recognize the advantages of the development of the telecommunications and postal sectors in terms of fair competition, high quality and wide range of services offered to the end users. In this regard, the establishment of bilateral cooperation between the regulators and the expanding of their partnership is of significant importance for promoting the development of affordable and high quality communication services.

The purpose of the signed bilateral agreement is to exchange best regulatory practices and experience by means of joint projects, consultations at expert and executive level, as well as through provision of information on the state of the relevant national markets.

The initiative is a continuation of the Communications Regulation Commission’s policy for cooperation with the national regulators from the countries in the region and EU Member States.
