With Decision No 2171 of 03.12.2012 the Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) launched a public consultation procedure on a draft decision on definition, analysis and assessment of the markets for access to public telephone network at a fixed location and publicly available telephone services provided at a fixed location. The CRC defined the markets for access to public telephone network at a fixed location, for residential and non-residential customers, for publicly available national telephone services provided to residential and non-residential customers at a fixed location and for publicly available international telephone services provided to residential and non-residential customers at a fixed location as relevant markets susceptible to ex ante regulation

The draft market analysis is provided for consideration to the stakeholders and is published on the CRC’s website under the section “Public consultation”.

 

The results of the conducted analysis show that the Bulgarian Telecommunication Company AD is designated as an undertaking having significant market power on the relevant markets.
