BEREC launched public consultation on two draft documents related to the new Roaming Regulation

 

Following the entry into force on 1 July 2012 of Regulation (EU) No 531/2012 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 13 June 2012 on roaming on public mobile communications networks within the Union (Roaming III) the Body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) published for public consultation two documents related to the implementation of the structural measures introduced with the Regulation:

 

1. Draft BEREC Guidelines on the application of Article 3 of the Roaming Regulation – Wholesale Roaming Access 

 

2. Draft Roaming Regulation – Choice of the Decoupling Method – A consultation to assist BEREC in preparing advice to the Commission on its forthcoming Implementing Act 

 

The two documents are available at BEREC’s website http://berec.europa.eu/whatsnew/index_en.htm.

 

The consultation with the stakeholders will run until 10 August 2012.
