The Communications Regulation Commission received an invitation for participation in the competition “European Public Sector Award 2011”

 

The Communications Regulation Commission (the CRC) received an official invitation from the Directorate “Operational Program “Administrative Capacity” to the Ministry of Finance for participation in a competition “European Public Sector Award 2011”. The Forum is organized by the European Institute of Public Administration (EIPA) – The Netherlands.

 

The invitation to the regulator is a result of the high estimation, received by the CRC’s team, for achievements in the elaboration of the project Development of an information system “Licensing and registers” in relation to the elaboration of software for notifications, authorizations, licenses and registrations aiming provisioning of complex administrative electronic services to the citizens and business”. The project is financed by the European Social Fund through Operational Program “Administrative capacity” and will ensure the provision of 39 electronic administrative services.

 

The prestigious international competition brings together the best practices in public sector projects in the EU member states. This year’s edition is the third one and will distinguish the public administrations in three categories: 1) Smart Public Service Delivery in a Cold Economic Climate; 2) Opening Up the Public Sector through Collaborative Governance; and 3) Going Green: Concrete Solutions from the Public Sector.

 

The winners of the prestigious award will be announced during an official ceremony to be held on 17 November 2011 in Maastricht – the Netherlands.
