Today, 19-th of May 2008 in Madrid, the Communications Regulation Commission of Bulgaria and the State Secretariat for Telecommunications and Information Society to the Ministry of Industry, Tourism and Trade of the Kingdom of Spain signed Memorandum of understanding in the field of the electronic communications. It aims at improvement of the long-standing co-operation of both institutions in the field of telecommunications. The Memorandum envisages exchange of views and elaboration of projects for the implementation of the European framework in the electronic communications field, bilateral consultations on topics, discussed within the European Union.

 

Activities related to the transition from analogue to digital broadcasting, as well as analyses of the impact of the new technologies and NGN over the electronic communications sector are also anticipated.
