Today, 03 October 2019, the body of European Regulators for Electronic Communications (BEREC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding with the International Telecommunication Union (ITU). The signing ceremony of the Memorandum took place during the plenary session of the BEREC Board of Regulators.

The cooperation between BEREC and ITU will encourage the exchange of information and experience in the area of electronic communications, the participation in the ITU regional regulatory forums, study groups and working formats.
