CRC’s Chairman Ivan Dimitrov and Minister of Transport, Information Technology and Communications Rosen Zhelyazkov held a working neeting  with Ms Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Director of the Telecommunication Development Bureau (BDT), International Telecommunication Union (ITU). She is the first woman on a high management post in the history of the organisation. The meeting took place today within ITU Telecom World.

 The ITU regional initiatives for Europe and those forthcoming in 2020 which all stakeholders should follow for the development of information and communication technologies in agreement with governments were the main focus of the meeting.

 Other topics, such as the promotion of a dynamic global dialogue between the national regulatory authorities, policy making authorities, industry leaders and other key stakeholders in the field of information and communication technologies were also discussed.
