The Communications Regulation Commission adopted draft amendments and supplements to the Functional specifications for geographic numbers portability when changing the provider of fixed telephone service and/or changing the address within one geographic national code for direction (FS).

 

In the proposed amendment § 3 of the Transitional and final provisions of the FS has dropped out. Thus the right of portability of the used geographic numbers from all end users will be guaranteed and an opportunity for provision of the service within all geographic national codes for direction will be ensured.

 

In accordance with the provisions of art. 134, para. 3 in relation with art. 36, para. 1 para. 2 of the LEC, the Commission launched a procedure for public consultation, and the draft amendment to the FS is published on the Commission website www.crc.bg. Interested persons may send their written comments within 30 days from the date of the present publication at Sofia, 6, Gurko Str., Communications Regulation Commission and the Internet address www.crc.bg.
