CRC designated the company, which will install the national digital networks from the second phase of the digitalization Plan

The Communications Regulation Commission (CRC) designated “Hannu Pro Bulgaria” EAD for the candidate, who has won the contest for issuing a permission for using the radio frequency spectrum for carrying out electronic communications through three electronic communications networks for terrestrial digital radio broadcasting with national coverage for a term of 15 years. The Decision is related to the implementation of the second phase of the digitalization Plan.

The contest was announced at the beginning of April this year, after CRC established that the number of persons expressing interest is greater than the number of the permissions, which might be issued. In accordance with the approved contest documents and the adopted rules, the documents of the candidates were considered by an expert commission, and a report was submitted for the executed job and the results of the grading.

For participation in the contest for second phase of the digitalization, documents were submitted by six companies, the names of which were published on the Internet webpage of CRC. Two companies were permitted to participate in the procedure, namely “Hannu Pro Bulgaria” and the graded at the second place “Adepto” OOD. The remaining 4 companies were not admitted for participation in the contest, since the submitted by them documents do not correspond to the contest requirements.

In accordance with the provisions of the Law on electronic communications (LEC), the decision of CRC, announcing the result of the contest will be promulgated in SG.
