The Chairman of  CRC takes part in ITU Telecom World. This year’s edition of the event is held from 9 to 12 September in Budapest, Hungary.

ITU Telecom World is an annual event in the field of information and communications technologies (ICT), оrganised by the ITU Telecom, part of the International Telecommunication Uniоn (ITU), the UN specialised agency responsible for ICT-related issues. This year’s edition has the theme "Better, sooner."

 Heads of State or Government, CEOs, chief executive directors of major enterprises and investors from the ICT industry, sectoral ministers, heads of national regulatory authorities, high-level representatives of international organisations and agencies of the United Nations (UN), small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), entrepreneurs, innovators, academic organisations, consultants will hold a discussion in the various sessions of the programme.

 The main topics include: digital integrity and confidence building in the connected world; expanding connectivity through innovative financing, infrastructure and partner models; 5G deployment through new partner paradigms; cooperation for  safe cyberspace at global level; the role and scope of the new regulatory approaches; optimising and controlling the use of the artificial intelligence and the data generated by it; maintaining sustainable ICT growth in emerging and developed markets at local, national and international level; building digital literacy, using local content and initiatives in providing telecommunication services, developing digital skills; support for innovation centers and SMEs growth; reality in the digital single market.

 During the forum in Budapest - CRC’s Chairman Ivan Dimitrov will hold a number of bilateral meetings.
